Construction
Shown here is a bottom wedge being fitted into a set of rosewood sides to make a clean-looking joint.
Kerfed lining is glued to the sides to provide a larger glueing area for the top and back. Note the tooling hole locations to ensure proper alignment of top and back at assembly. This is Halle's grand auditorium in process.
This "Master Grade" Sitka Spruce top is braced with traditional X-bracing. It is now ready to be glued onto the side assembly. This is Halle's top. She still raves about this guitar.
This two-piece rosewood back is also ready for assembly on Don's guitar. This is a very clean rosewood back for yet another satisfied customer.
Here I have a top being glued onto the sides of one of my rosewood dreadnoughts.
This rosewood guitar is waiting for the back assembly. Note the CNC-machined mold which ensures a perfect shape. All my tooling is computer designed and CNC machined.
This computer simulated neck shows how a CNC machine will cut the precise shape. What you see is what you get.
This neck and bridge just came off the
CNC machine without any additional finishing.
