My dedication to acoustic guitar excellence was born out of a career working as a toolmaker and master machinist. Working to microscopic tolerances with the use of sophisticated computer software, CNC machines and conventional lutherie, I ensure guitars of exceptional quality, tone and precision. The recessed fret slots are CNC machined (as are saddle slots) which give the appearance of a bound fingerboard while helping to achieve spot-on intonation. Every guitar is individually custom made from the finest grade, hand selected solid woods. Each top is carefully thinned and "voiced" to produce optimum tone. A wide variety of woods for the back and sides are used giving each instrument its distinct sound to meet your tonal preference. Exotic wood edge binding and purfling adorn every guitar.

Currently I have six different shapes and will build a guitar to your specifications from a variety of woods.  Different neck widths are available to meet your playing style. My guitars have satisfied the most descriminating players, amatuers and professionals alike. All agree the tone, playability, workmanship, attention to detail and precision of my instruments are first rate. Every guitar is fitted with a quality hard shell case.

In addition to building world class intruments, I offer musical instrument repair and CAD/CAM (Computer Assisted Design / Computer Assisted Manufacture) on a consulting basis to help luthiers move into the realm of CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machining. Robinsong Guitars can provide CNC machined components and tooling to your specifications.

I am proud to introduce the newest addition to my fine line of guitars, a 25.0" scale, small bodied Grand Parlor steel string. This guitar sounds sweet.
